Denver-based instrumentalist Arja Adair is now the sole mastermind behind his production alias Bass Physics, taking the former duo into a new chapter of solo transcendental rebirth. This current iteration of Bass Physics kicks off with Adair’s debut individual single “Every Lonely Day,” which marks the first track to drop from his forthcoming self-released album, Disillusion.
“Every Lonely Day” was written during a time of self-healing and personal introspection for Adair, both themes that run deep in his production process and can be felt in the song’s evocative energy. The result is a sonic movement fully embodied with Adair’s uninhibited blend of earthy samples, instrumental craft, and synth tones that oscillate between ethereal and that melodically gritty Colorado bass sound.
“Although I have many amazing friends and adored family, I can't help but look around in this world and notice how many lonely people there are. "Every Lonely Day" not only projects my own feeling of loneliness, but the loneliness of others that I empathize with. I wanted to create something beautiful to make them smile during even the lowest of lows... but also powerful to motivate them to improve their situation,” Bass Physics said.
With the objective to have a positive impact on the world through music, his impassioned sound emulates a revolutionary mixed style of bass music and live instrumentation. Touching on sounds across the genre spectrum of bass, electronic rock, soulful funk and hip-hop, Bass Physics’ new rebirth into a solo project is just the beginning for the growth and evolution of his mark on the music world.
